I am a doctoral student at the Department of Physics at North Carolina State University.I am a member of the Nonlinear Artifical Intelligence Laboratory and am advised by Dr. William Ditto.
I previously worked on developing deep learning algorithms for analysing events from the ATLAS Experiment at CERN.
My research focuses on the interplay of physics and machine learning. I am interested in using heuristics and techniques from physics to develop better machine learning algorithms that can in turn be used to study physics.
I am particularly interested in the use of symmetries to constrain the parameter space of machine learning algorithms.
